MP3-Player
I recently got my Spotify Wrapped and noticed something odd.
C418 was in my Top 5 Artist list this year. Yes, I had listened to Minecraft Volume Alpha a few times and Roundup to the Inevitable End is in my breakcore playlist, but... how in the fuck?? I am PRETTY sure Haken should've been my number 5, but they didn't even show up.
Welp. I moved on and accepted it.
However, a few days later my boyfriend texted me, complaining about how most of Meshuggah's discography was missing from Spotify and how he was gonna cancel his subscription if they didn't add them back. He was pissed.
Seeing how I have never in my life paid for Spotify and have kinda always switched between that and downloading music manually, I decided to once again go back to owning my beloved music as files.
Last time I tried using an MP3-player I was too stingy to get a newer model and simply used my dad's old sansa clip. That thing is dang cute, but boy does it not have nearly enough storage space to keep all my songs. What also bugged me was how it could not display cover art, so I switched back to my phone and used Musicolet.
That was before I got the offer of joining a Spotify family subscription for free. I have now used that for an entire year and I think it is time to go back to the traditional way for my main listening. I shall still use Spotify for discovering new stuff, but my most precious songs will be mine.
Anyway, long story short: I bought this MP3-Player on sale for 20 bucks. It has physical buttons, a color screen that shows album art, and a max. capacity of 128GB. That is as much as my phone's internal and external storage combined. Whoa. The 128GB card is not included with my model, but it comes with a 32GB one, which sounds like it will be enough.
Apparenty it can also be used as an eBook reader. I shall see about that. The screen seems too small for properly reading stuff but hey, maybe it works, who knows? Me, soon.
Something else I really wanna try is watching anime on that thing, tho I will definitely have to settle with dub.
It is still on its way. I'll post an update once it is set up.
